Loving you more than ever / 11:23 PM
Caught this movie on the tele today and i thought that its a pretty good hindi film. I liked how Akshay Kumar was in the movie. For the first time i actually thought he's absolutely charming and he had that whole sex appeal thing going on. Katrina Kaif on the other hand annoyed me. She was spontaneously irritating in the movie, and i thought the role suited her very much. On Koffee with Karan, she literally told Karan that "Its really difficult to deflate my ego" after watching a video of fans telling her how they feel about her and stuff like that. I thought that was probably one of the rudest things an actor could say. Even if you want to be genuine and blunt, you've got to be a little more subtle about what you say to your fans.
Anyway, i fell in love with Akshay in the movie. He did a great job and there were moments where i wished i was Katrina instead, so then i could just make my move and re-shoot the whole scene telling the director that i forgot what was supposed to happen at that point. :)
Why wouldn't you like him? There's possibly no reason. He's hot. Period.
I also caught New York I love You today. You see i know i've been fb-ing and telling the whole world that i've been mugging like a loser who lost all her notes last minute and will die if she dosent study enough before the exams. But i've decided to take a big break not only because i want to but simply because i need to for some other reasons. So movies to me are the best breaks anyone can get.
NYILY was a simple and interesting movie with various stories. I still feel that Love Actually is one of the best movie in this row of films that's being taken, with lots of smaller stories in them. NYILY got to me at one point, where i truly cried and wanted that part to happen in my life in the future. The story of the two old people, Eli Wallach and Cloris Leachman. They walk, a long way talking and heading to the beach to celebrate their 60 something anniversary. There's one particular scene where they watch the waves and she slips her hands through this arm and leans over, he then kisses her forehead and they lock eyes. Then two brats come along skatebording over the bench near them and they start yelling and walking away. That love, is exactly what i want to see in my relationship. It doesnt have to be the same. Just somewhere along those lines would be just fine.
