sis boom bah / 4:07 PM

I had so much to blog about yesterday and then i was too tired after eating pizza to even switch on my lappy. So instead i cramped myself between my mum and sis to watch Desperate Housewives and America's Next Top Model back to back for two hours. It felt good. Mum wanted to bring me out for dinner to celebrate my success, but i decided we should just order in and save money on travelling and GST/Service charges. Plus we had the comfort of the tv and Sam did not have to feel left out (thoughtful or what?)

Yesterday was a good day. Really good indeed. I studied in school for awhile before having lunch with the girls. We had jap and waffles. Such a good combi. Although i still prefer NYP's jap food anytime. The sauce is sweeter and the egg did not have the burnt taste like the one in Ngee Ann had. Lunch was filled with good laughter and lots of unnecessary loud yells (the short one attracts hell alot of attention i tell you).

Then i met the cousin for ice cream and catching up on details of our lives. Funny how both of us had so many common things we had to share that day. "These boys need to grow a pair" so she says. I agree totally! The ride home was fast although it was after 6 and jammed everywhere (perhaps my book was the reason i did not let the long bumpy ride get into me). Then i had tuition which was boring.

I'm currently reading a book thats called "Sis boom bah" by Jane Heller which has suspense and and loads of humour in it. People magazine said "If you ever wanted to kill your sister, then this is the novel for you!" If you get the opportunity, grab a copy and read it. I've enjoyed it so far and i cant stop reading.

The elder sister Sharon is horrible. While the younger sister Deborah retaliates only because Sharon has nothing nice to say. "Your dress looks pretty and you look lovely Sharon." says Deb. "Why thank you, you look lovely yourself Deb, your dress is sweet, i had a table cloth like that once!" says Sharon -_-! Just when you think they probably get closer in the later part of the book, "Whats the commotion about Barry?" says Sharon "Oh its just that Deb's interested in desserts now" says Barry (Sharon's lawyer). "My sister is always interested in desserts, judging by her waistline" says Sharon.

So as you already know, sisters are not always the wow factor in our lives, but nonetheless, sisters always matter and they will always be loved! :D
