Is it just me or have people actually lost their minds?
If you've been reading, then you probably would have come across the article on sending our ashes up to the moon! Yes, you read it right, to the freaking MOON. & this idea can probably be up and running by 2010. Thats two years away people. & hold your breath cause there is more!
The company hopes to install a cemetery on the lunar surface to hold cremated remains of the dead, or a smaller symbolic portion of them, which one day could be visited by relatives of the deceased, said Chafer.
For transportation, Celestis has made deals with two other US private space companies, Odyssey Moon and Astrobotic Technology, which are currently working on making commercial flights to the moon.
This is simple madness if you ask me. & dont be all glee cause you gotta pay US$9995 to send one gram portion of your loved one's ashes up the moon. The funny thing is, some people dont have the time to visit their loved ones graves back here on earth, so why bother creating this?
