Perfect Monday / 3:16 PM
Sometimes i really wonder about the human reaction to certain situations. What is the matter with people these days? They go on and on about being perfect and do the craziest things. And then there are things like ignoring the people from your past whom you had a conflict with by being oh so secretive and blunt with your actions.
I mean seriously, if you really cant stand someone, dont act like you do. Its putting yourself in a pathetic spot and also making a fool out of the other party. I'm learning more and more each day about different people and their character. I've got this sudden urge to just watch and analyze how cruel and blunt people can be, even when they know you're trying your best to maybe make things work out.
So get your acts right and try and make a peaceful life for yourself. & maybe along the way you'll find the happiness and the true meaning of life. If people dont respect you and care about your actions, why do you? Ask yourself that. I'm going with the motto "Respect yourself and others will respect you".
On a better note of life, i managed to make full use of my free Monday! Starting with a study trip down the lane of A maths with Fizah at Bishan Library. The rain almost spoiled my day, but i still managed to hit the gym with Joshua and my stomach not only hurt from the excercise but from the stupid jokes he cracked which made me laugh and release some stress. I'm loving the gym lately and my new Reebok shoes are a motivation for my running. & finally i met RC and Radz in the evening for a little get together before he leaves to serve the country. I skipped dinner since i worked out and the tako pachi i bought sucked.
Its good to get together with some friends during the week. Nothing like friends for some stress relieving. & i'm hoping the Ubin trip works out, cause i really cant wait. Joshua has agreed to save me since both of us havent exactly cycled at Ubin before. & how he is gonna do that is simply by falling on top of me when we both cant keep up with the cycling so he has some cushion to land on -_-!
For all the book freaks out there, Popular is having a buy 1-get-1 free sale for a number of good books. I dont exactly know when the sale is till but its seriously worth the buy. Just make sure your second book is of lower or equal cost to the first one. & they have Archie Double Digest at 3 for $10! Thats like WOW!
