You prolly thought i had a mundane monday! So did i when i woke up this morning to a weather that was making me fall back into bed. Sheesh. Did you see the gust of wind that almost blew all of Singapore away! Not forgetting the really dark clouds and the really loud noises coming from the sky! I had this silly thought in me when i was walking towards the mrt station this morning. (i was already late btw!) A silly thought as though God was upset with the world and he made the clouds show his depth of hurt and disappointment with earth. Apparently he was very pleased with earth until adam and eve broke the rules. Then everthing became chaotic. When it usually rains i presume its just God's duty to water his plants down here like the trees and all, but whenever the sky becomes too dark and it looks like a typhoon is gonna hit Singapore, i get rather nervous. Like i said i feel God is upset and the clouds, rain, wind and thunder show us how much. & here is a picture which i took this morning at 7 am. Yes thats how dark and scary the sky looked.

Then its was the usual day filled with activities. I met Amilia, and we headed down to Plaza Park Royal Hotel just beside our office for an induction course. We thought it was gonna be the plain old boring courses that people attended but we were wrong. We pretty much enjoyed it and so did the instructor. Some of my girlfriends know why :) we had nice finger food like sandwiches and the Earl Grey tea made me feel sexy after being drenched all the way from my butt and from shivering under the damn aircon in the ballroom! Its a 5 star hotel btw, from this you can pretty much guess how many times i headed to the ladies just to get a feel of the expensive luxury for free. :) Lunch was at Raffles Hospital banquet with the yummy fishball noodles and watermelon juice.
While walking toward raffles hotel, me and Amilia admired the Parkview Square building (as always). The both of us have this special connection to this buidling although we've never walked into it or took a peek either. But somehow, we've always talked about it. Continuously praising the architect and also complimenting the buildings structure and the beauty and concept of it. Its just breathtaking if you take time to just sit and look at it. We've done that a zillion times since we used to sit at a wonderful place that had a great view. The story that i heard from a good friend was this. Apparently, my company buidling was one of the first to be build in Bugis in that whole open land area. Because of FENG SHUI, no one wanted to build any buildings anywhere ard that area since my buidling is like really sharp! So after a few years, they decided to build the gothic antique looking building of Parkview Square which stands tall and strong and obviously killing the look of my building. Thats when everything else started coming up. I am proud to know the history and also to be able t look at the building everyday. Somehow its brings me a form of peace :)
& the building was captured for y'all to view in three different effects :D

The original look (:
